What are your opening Hours?

Hire Desk – Monday to Friday 08.30 – 17.30 and Weekends 08.30 to 13.00. Service Department – Monday to Friday 08.30 – 17.30. Weekends closed.

Can I take a vehicle abroad?

No, We only allow our vehicles to operate within the island of Ireland.

Can I hire a driver too?

No, We provide a self-drive service only.

What happens if my vehicle breaks down?

In the unlikely event of you encountering problems with your hire vehicle, simply call the contact number on your hire form and talk to one of our representatives.

What is the Weekender?

The “Weekender” is designed for people who only have the weekend to get it all done. Hire a van or truck from 17.00 on a Friday to 08.30 on a Monday morning and avail of our great Discount offer.

Can I purchase Insurance cover?

No, We do not supply insurance cover. The hirer is required to supply their own Full Comprehensive Insurance cover the period of hire. Upon allocating a vehicle to you, we will supply you with the insurance details relating to the vehicle you are hiring. You then pass this information on to your insurance provider and request a cover note be mailed to us confirming cover is in place.

What category license do I need to hire the vehicle I want?

The license category for each vehicle is listed in the vehicle information. To hire a vehicle you must hold a current full license relating to the class of vehicle you wish to hire. Take a look at our Driving License chart which explains everything you need to know.

BLicense =   Groups: A, B, C, D, & E

C1License = Groups: F, G, H, & J

CLicense =   Groups: I, K, & L

E+License =   Groups: M

Do we supply vehicles for one way hire?

Unfortunately not. All vehicles must be returned to our depot in Chapelizod Dublin where our staff will check the vehicle in at the end of your hire period.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes but we would ask you to give us as much notice as possible. Failure to do so will incur a nominal charge depending on the class of vehicle booked.

Payment
Is Vat included?

All our rates quoted exclude VAT, the rate on commercial hire is 23%.

How do I pay?

If you are a non-account holder with us, then you can pay by Visa, MasterCard or Debit card.  Sorry but we don’t accept Cash or Cheques. For first time customers and non-account holders we charge a €250 deposit to cover incidentals such as parking tickets, tolls charges, fuel and minor damage costs. The deposit will be refunded after the vehicle hire is complete.

Renting A Vehicle
Do hire vehicles need to be refueled before they are collected or returned?

We encourage our customers to re-fuel rental vehicles back to the level they received the vehicles at. If required, we can charge for the fuel used instead or deduct the amount from your deposit.

What age do I have to be to hire a vehicle?

There is no minimum age restriction; but all drivers must hold a valid full license for the vehicle category they wish to hire, and free of endorsements, convictions or disqualifications.

Can I extend the hire period if I need the vehicle longer?

Yes of course you can; just call us and let us know, we will extend the insurance cover for you and note your new return date.

How long can I hire a vehicle for?

By arrangement you can hire the vehicle as long as you want. For example, a week a month even a year. If you need a vehicle longer than that you might want to consider looking at our Fleet~Link Contract Hire option.

What is the shortest amount of time I can hire a vehicle for?

The minimum rental period is 24 hours. It starts anytime you want during our office hours, for example, 08.30 – 08.30 the following day or 12.00 noon to 12.00 noon. If you are finished with the vehicle sooner, you can return it during office hours.
